This George G. Harrap edition with Willy Pogany illustrations looks remarkably similar on the inside to this 1931 edition, also done by The Riverside Press. Based on the reprinting history found on that edition, I wonder if, perhaps, this edition is the original 1916 one of this ‘line’ or one of the early ones in any case.
This copy was originally owned by the visitor’s great aunt, who was a nurse and founder member of the Royal College of Nursing. It was given to her by a long time friend and fellow nurse.
This edition and its photos were contributed by a visitor. Thank you!
Per the contributor, it “is bound in a soft snuff coloured suede” and is 4x5.5 inches in size.
