The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam:
1996 Quality Paperback Book Club Edmund Dulac Edition
This 1996 Rubaiyat copy from the Quality Paperbook Book Club has art from Edmund Dulac, the first and second editions of the translation, and an introduction by A.S. Byatt. It feels so modern!
But, despite this edition being from the late 90s, I am not sure if this printing of Dulac’s art is the most beautiful of the ones I have… The art is glossy and rich, but I feel like it is missing something.
